HISTORY

The conferences on supercritical Fluids in Latin America started in 1994 with Brazilian Meetings on Supercritical Fluids. The events took place 3 years and April 2004 marked the 5th reunion. After 10 years of successful meetings, it was decided to expand the conference to all Iberoamerican countries, following the development of the subject in the region. In this way, in 2007 occurred the First Iberoamerican Conference on Supercritical Fluids – Prosciba took place, in Iguassu Falls.  The great success of the previous Prosciba motivated us to organize a new version of it in Natal, Brazil.

The purpose of this conference is to promote the exchange between scientists and professionals working in the field of supercritical fluid technology, in order to expand and consolidate the theme in Iberoamerica.

The II Iberoamerican Conference on Supercritical Fluids has been organized by Argentina, Brazil, Spain and Portugal.

II PROSCIBA will take place in Natal city, northeast of Brazil, from April 5th to 9th, 2010.
